Meta bills every provider the same way: for each delivered message, at a rate that depends on the category and the country (Meta’s pricing page has the rate cards). Marketing, utility and authentication templates are charged.
Since 1 October 2026 free-form replies inside the 24-hour window are charged too, at the utility rate. Conversations that start from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad keep a free window of up to 7 days.
Providers differ in the fee on top, the limits, and how much of the work they do for you.
You could build all of it yourself on Meta’s Cloud API. Most teams don’t want to write webhooks, a template manager and an inbox, so a provider handles four things for them:
| Bill | Who sends it | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Per-message charges | Meta, billed to your WhatsApp Business account (some providers bill it for you) | Each delivered marketing, utility or authentication template, and since 1 October 2026 each free-form reply inside the 24-hour window |
| Platform fee | The provider | The inbox, tools, agents, numbers and support. Some providers also add a markup on each message |
| Question | WaMark |
|---|---|
| Markup on Meta’s rate | None. Meta bills your WhatsApp Business account directly at its standard rates, and WaMark adds no platform fee on top |
| Pricing model | By plan: Basic ₹999 (1 agent), Starter ₹2,999 (3 agents), Growth ₹6,999 (10 agents, 3 numbers), Business ₹14,999 (30 agents, 10 numbers) |
| Limits | Contacts, campaign messages and AI conversations are capped per plan, with a usage page showing where you stand |
| Keep the Business app | No. WaMark connects numbers the standard way, so the number moves to the API |
| GST invoice and payment | Automatic GST invoice for every payment, paid in INR by card, UPI or net banking through Razorpay |
| Team inbox | Shared inbox with routing rules (round-robin, a named agent or a department) |
Plan prices are before 18% GST. Pricing and limits change, so check the pricing page before you decide.

Plans start at ₹999 a month before GST. Connect a number and send your first template today.
Start with WaMarkSee pricingTake 1,000 marketing messages, 3,000 agent replies and a 3-agent team. Meta’s India card (from 1 January 2026) is ₹0.8631 for a marketing message and ₹0.115 for utility, authentication and, now, service replies.
That is about ₹863 for the marketing messages and ₹345 for the replies. Add a Starter plan at ₹2,999, which includes 1,000 campaign messages a month, and the total is roughly ₹4,207 before 18% GST. Past 1,000 campaign messages, the Growth plan (₹6,999) includes 6,000.
Some vendors report a free monthly allowance of replies per number, so your bill may come in lower. Check WhatsApp Manager, and add any provider markup to the sum before you compare.
A WhatsApp Business API provider connects your number to Meta’s official Cloud API and adds what Meta does not: a team inbox, campaigns, chatbots, reports and INR billing with GST invoices.
Meta publishes one rate card for everyone, so the difference is the monthly fee and any markup on top. Compare the plan price, the agent and number limits, and whether the provider adds a charge to each message. WaMark plans start at ₹999 a month before GST with no platform fee on Meta’s rates.
Meta charges for each delivered template message, and the provider charges its own subscription. With WaMark, Meta bills your WhatsApp Business account directly at its standard rates, and WaMark adds no fee on top.
Only if the provider supports Meta’s coexistence option. With the standard setup, which WaMark uses, the number moves to the API and stops working in the WhatsApp Business app.
Ask whether it sends messages through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Tools that automate WhatsApp Web are not official, and they can get your number banned.
